Cherry Pepper Plant

Compact and ornamental, the cherry pepper plant produces small, round peppers that ripen from green to vibrant red. These peppers deliver a bright, fruity heat with a crisp bite—perfect for fresh salsas, pickled preparations, or adding visual appeal to dishes. Use cherry peppers in sauces, stir-fries, or as a garnish for cocktails and appetizers. They can be stuffed and roasted or smoked.  They work beautifully in fermented hot sauces and pair well with vinegar-based preserves. This plant thrives in bright, indirect light and prefers consistently moist soil during the growing season. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry, and provide good air circulation to prevent fungal issues. Feed monthly with a balanced fertilizer during spring and summer. Cherry pepper plants are relatively low-maintenance and can be grown indoors near a sunny window or outdoors in warm climates. Harvest peppers when fully colored for maximum flavor and heat.
